A bottle of tequila
10 lime wedges
1 sexy blonde
Add in a crazy Vegas weekend
Lick and Swallow.
What do you get? A recipe for disaster.
Titan
Last night I got married.
I think.
I'm not exactly sure.
I was drunk off my ass, so it's not exactly crystal clear.
But, I woke up with a ring on my finger, a marriage certificate, and a sneaking suspicion I had a wild wedding night.
Oh, and a bride who is long gone.
Apparently, what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay here. Sometimes it takes off running.
But a runaway bride is the least of my problems.
Now I’m chasing after my runaway bride with divorce on my mind.
What could go wrong?
Besides everything.
This is book 3 in the series, but is self-contained and can be read as a standalone.
HEA inside and absolutely no cheating of any kind.
Book Worms and Couch Potatoes Reveiw:
The blurb on this book (ok, and the cover) drew me to this
book. I have this weird fascination with “waking up in Vegas married” stories.
Ehhh… We all have our quirks. The story started off slow, then picked up. Once
it picked up, I was hooked. The relationship between Titan and Faith is what
can be expected considering their circumstances. Everything is going good in
the book: the story, the conflict, the character development. And then we meet
Aunt Ida Sue. She’s the relative that you kind of want to hide from everyone
but deep down you can’t stay away from. The names of Faith’s cousins had me
shocked then laughing uncontrollably. And Hamburger the pet cow probably ended
up being my favorite character. All in all, the book was really good. The
beginning was good and the end was good. Just the few weird yet comedic
chapters in between threw me for a loop. I did hope that the conflict with
Faith’s ex-boyfriend had been a little darker. Not outrageously dark but a
little more than what it was. Overall, this is a 4 to 4.5 star read.
